Grads Update, Mabon 2008
Hello, it’s fall and time for Schola to start up again. This fall Faculty are doing something different – a series of invitational
retreats to put the final touches on 3 new classes (Elements, Shamanism and Kaballa); to revise OPS-100 per your generous feedback, and to prepare our instructors to teach it in the new calendar year.
This means there won’t be an OPS-100 this fall (so anyone who’s thinking of taking it has a few more months to apply) and the renewed OPS100 will take the place of OPS-200 after Yule. At least one of the classes being finalized this fall is expected to be offered to OPS-100 grads in the Winter (post-Yule) session.
I am also open to doing reviews of the OPS-100/200 material with any of its grads and/or to explore applying that material to ritual forms other than the one we use in our Circle 100 classes. Contact me here or privately if you would like to participate.
We also have a new website going online this weekend replacing the green site you’ve been seeing the past two years at
schola.isgreat.org. The new version allows registered users (registration is both automated & free), to submit links and articles to the site. We’re also looking for some proofreaders to look over such submissions and to correct or update what we already have. The submission and editing interface is a simple word processor which operates in your browser — you DO NOT need to know any html to use it!
As always we encourage feedback from you, our committed stakeholders.
